A podiatrist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of problems with the feet. Conditions treated may include skin problems, hammertoes, heel pain, foot and ankle deformities, ingrown nails, fungal nails, fractures, warts, the prescription of orthotics and diabetic foot care.
