Dr. Srinivasan Retirement

Dr. Srinivasan will be retiring from Lakeview Clinic after 31 years of service. His last day will be December 31, 2020.

Daniel J. Olson, M.D.-Family Medicine starting in Waconia September 2020

Dr. Olson grew up in Fergus Falls, MN. He earned his undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School, then completed his family medicine residency through the University of Minnesota at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato. He enjoys the full scope of family medicine with special interest in office based procedures, acute care, and preventative medicine.Dr. Olson lives in Waconia with his wife, three sons, and bernedoodle. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading, going to sporting events, and golfing.

Rebecca L. Siffring, M.D.-Family Medicine/OB starting in Watertown September 2020

Rebecca L. Siffring, MD, grew up in the countryside near Fergus Falls, MN. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. She completed her residency with the Methodist Family Medicine program.Dr. Siffring is looking forward to joining Lakeview clinic in the Watertown location. She takes joy in providing medical care to people of all ages, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Special interests include obstetrics, infertility, Natural Family Planning, weight management, digestive disorders, injuries, and skin problems.Dr. Siffring lives in Victoria with her husband, Caleb, and their son. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, painting/drawing, and learning to garden.

Leah Clark, M.D.- Family Medicine Starts August 2020

Leah Clark, M.D. will see patients in Chaska starting August 2020.

Dr. Leah Clark grew up in Dassel, MN. She earned her undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead and went to medical school at University of Minnesota, Duluth. She worked with Lakeview Clinic for 9 months through the school’s RPAP program during her 3rd year of medical school. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and was proud to serve as one of their chief residents. Dr. Clark is excited to be back with Lakeview! She loves taking care of the whole family and has special interests in office based procedures (particularly ultrasound guided and non-guided musculoskeletal injections, but also dermatologic and gynecologic procedures), Sports Medicine and Women’s Health.

When not serving patients, Dr. Clark can be found traveling, enjoy the great outdoors, playing music, cooking, and spending time with her husband, kids, and golden retriever.

Katy Howell, M.D.-Pediatrics Starting June 2020

Katy Howell, MD will be joining Lakeview Clinic in June 2020. She will see patients at our Waconia office.

Dr. Howell grew up in Faribault, Minnesota and earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics from College of Saint Benedict/St. John’s University. She attended medical school at The University of Minnesota and completed her residency at Nationwide Childrens Hospital/The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Howell enjoys all aspects of pediatrics from newborns to adolescents. Above all, she enjoys the relationships with her patients and their families. 

Dr. Howell is excited about her move home to Minnesota.  She and her husband are avid Minnesota sports fans, SKOL Vikings! She also enjoys running, baking and spending time with family and friends.

Along with other health care organizations Lakeview Clinic is preparing for the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S. to support the health and safety of our communities. Keeping you safe is our primary concern.

What you should know:

  • Typical symptoms of the Coronavirus COVID-19 include fever, cough and respiratory difficulties.
  • If you, or someone close to you, have symptoms of respiratory illness and have spent time in any other countries listed on the CDC website, seek guidance from your provider.
  • Call the clinic to discuss your symptoms to determine if you need to be seen.
  • Patients with mild symptoms may be asked to remain home.
  • Patients are being screened in Lakeview Clinics, Ridgeview Emergency Departments, and Urgent Care Departments for symptoms of acute respiratory illness(i.e. fever, cough) and based upon symptoms, may be separated from other patients.
  • Lakeview is following the CDC (Center for Disease Control & Prevention) guideline for health care professionals.

What you should do to prevent the spread of any illness:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Cover your cough; use a tissue, or use your arm or the crook of you elbow and cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid close contact with anyone who may be ill.
  • Avoid touching your eyes or nose.
  • Do not wear a facemask if you are healthy.
